A Day at the Maui Swap Meet

James Iniba

The Maui Exposition, Flea Market, or as we call it, the Maui Swap Meet has been around for over 37 years. Our team at Mr. Pineapple opened a booth just over a year ago and wanted to share our experience with you.

There are over 200 vendors at this location with some of the best items Maui can offer at a great price.  You can find unique items to eat such as a sumo dog, shaved ice, banana macadamia nut bread and much more.  Many Hawaiian-made items can be found here with love sweat and tears that have been poured into the art pieces, jewelry and clothing created by locals.  The skills and passion for this work has often been passed down from generation to generation.  This is what we call a true Ohana or family.  The Maui Swap meet is now our Ohana and we can't wait to share it with you the next time your on Maui.

We offer fresh cold cut pineapple, Maui-made t-shirts, coconut candy, coconotes and much more.

Saturdays are definitely one of our favorite days because of the Swap Meet. We start the day by loading up at 4 am to load up the vehicles with all of our supplies, set up our booth, eat breakfast at our favorite food trucks and begin cutting fresh cold pineapple for the day. It is definitely hard work, but we love what we do. If you are wondering what a Swap Meet day day looks like for us, watch the video below!  Hope you enjoy.
