Aloha Spirit Spreads to the Mainland Through Baseball

Kelly Davison

The aloha spirit can be found everywhere within the islands however the Maui baseball teams are taking the aloha spirit with them on the road.  Maui has led the pact in all of the baseball leagues and now they are heading to the mainland to compete.  Mr. Pineapple has teamed up with Hali'imaile Pineapple Company to help the baseball teams spread the aloha spirit with pineapples to share with the mainland teams and coaches.

The Maui Pony All Stars took the State title at the Hawaii State Pony Regional Baseball Tournament on Kauai.  They are now heading to West Covina, California to represent Hawaii in the 2016 Western Region Baseball Tournament.  If successful, they will go on to the Pony World Series in Washington, Pennsylvania in August.
